About the Smart Savers Initiative
Overview
The Smart Savers Initiative offered through the Ameren Illinois Energy Efficiency Program offers customers within select residential communities the ability to acquire a smart thermostat at no cost. Qualifying residential customers who reside in these communities and who are residential customers of Ameren Illinois, heating with gas or electricity delivered by Ameren Illinois, are eligible for the Smart Savers Initiative. Eligible customers can receive a FREE Google Nest Thermostat E or ecobee3 lite. Offer available while supplies lasts.
Save the most energy with your smart thermostat by:
- Must be a residential customer of Ameren Illinois, heating with gas or electricity delivered by Ameren Illinois.
- Live in a qualifying ZIP code.
- You have not exceeded the maximum smart thermostat rebate during the lifetime of your account with Ameren Illinois at your current address.
Installation Options
Single-family customers who select the option to self-install will have the free smart thermostat shipped directly to their account address with easy-to-follow installation instructions. The customer can also view the respective installation video made available by the respective smart thermostat manufacturer. You can view them below:
Single-family customers may be eligible to choose a Program Ally in their area to professionally install their smart thermostat for free.
Free smart thermostats are available to multifamily properties by signing up for a FREE Energy Assessment. After this Assessment, you will have the option of free installation of smart thermostats or self-installation by your staff or trusted HVAC contractor. Sign up today!
